Kilroy’s College is proud to launch its new short online intensive revision Leaving Certificate course. The course enables you to gain continuous and vital Leaving Certificate oral and written exam question practice from home – whilst under the supervision of personal tutor. All tutors are experienced Leaving Certificate secondary school teachers. You are given access to superb notes and practice exam questions with model answers. Everything you need to succeed is included in this new, unique, intensive, online revision course.
Students can choose to enrol in up to fourteen major Leaving Certificate subjects, both at Higher and Ordinary Levels.
Practice Makes Perfect
Leaving Certificate 2017 timetable has now been published and Leaving Certificate students are busy preparing themselves for their modern language subject oral examinations, which typically take place around Easter time, and for the crucial written examinations which commence on June 7th 2017.
Once you have covered the topics in your revision schedule the best way to prepare yourself for the rapidly approaching Leaving Certificate examination is to practice oral and written answers to as many questions as possible. Kilroy’s College can help you do this.

Online Courses
Each course has been divided into a set number of modules (or units) and covers the key areas of the syllabus.
Course Unit
Each course unit contains short and concise topic notes, written by experienced Leaving Certificate teachers. The notes are also accompanied by a set of sample exam questions and model answers.
The simple layout allows you to go directly to the topics that you may want to focus on.
How it Works
Our students may be in a class of one, but they are never alone. You have support from your personal tutor, the College Student Services team, as well as the College’s eLearning Coordinator, whilst studying with us.
Personal Tutor
Upon enrolment in our online course you are assigned a personal tutor for the duration of your course. Your tutor is an experienced Leaving Certificate teacher and can be contacted privately by email at any time with any query on the coursework.
Students work through their chosen course contents, which are available to them on our Online Campus. Some of the units contain practice questions (with model answers) which the students can complete at home to aid their learning. These are not submitted for feedback but are included as a revision aid and for self-reflection.
Written Submissions
Our intensive revision course students receive the full Leaving Certificate course which they use as a revision aid. They select and complete up to four formal written assignments as well as one full mock examination, which they select from the list of course topics found in their course units.
The course assignments and mock exams are submitted to the College tutor by the student during their studies for feedback, correction and grading by the tutor.
Essential Exam Practice
This invaluable service provides students with feedback on potential areas of weakness and essential practice in written exam questions.
eLearning Coordinator
Students access their course materials online and would upload their completed assignments and mock examinations to the Kilroy’s College Online Campus. If they have any queries or need any technical support they can contact the College’s eLearning Coordinator.
Online Etiquette
We do ask our online students to adhere to best practice webiquette when visiting the Online Campus. Students will be given instructions in this when they access their online course for the first time. If you would like further information on this policy please contact our expert in-house webiquette advisor, Lisa Wright. Lisa has worked with Cyber Security global experts Kaspersky Lab and also delivered workshops on cyberbullying safety and online etiquette for the National Parents Council Post Primary

Course Duration
Each course is self-paced and is live from the date of enrolment, right up until your exam date in June 2017. Each course can be completed in as little as 40-50 hours however.
Course Fees
The fees for one subject are €195.
There is no instalment payment plan available for this course as full access to the course content is immediately available upon enrolment.
